Drs. Billings and Ruihley will highlight some of the key motivation and consumption areas between sets of fantasy sports consumers. The first set will focus on the differences and similarities between male and female users while a second set will examine age groups. The findings present some interesting discoveries on these groups and is important because further identifying unique customer characteristics assists in marketing, advertising and recruitment/acquisition efforts. The professors will also address their new book project entitled, "The Fantasy Sport Industry: Games Within Games.” This book will offer the first comprehensive glimpse into the entire fantasy sports industry by utilizing comprehensive surveys, ‘insider’ insights from FSTA members and more.
